What is Microdermabrasion?

Looking for a way to rejuvenate your dull skin? You may want to consider microdermabrasion. This treatment is a popular non-invasive cosmetic procedure that exfoliates the skin and promotes the production of collagen. Microdermabrasion can be used on all skin types, offering a quick and painless solution to a glowing and more youthful complexion.

How does it work?

Using a wand with micro-crystals, microdermabrasion gently exfoliates, lifts and removes dead cells from your skin. This polishing away of the top layer of skin stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin, revealing a healthy new skin that appears younger and smoother.

What does it treat?

Microdermabrasion can improve your skin from lightening brown spots and hyperpigmentation to minimizing lines and superficial scars. If you have fine facial lines or wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, enlarged pores, black heads, acne or uneven skin texture, you might be a good candidate for microdermabrasion.

Is microdermabrasion safe?

Microdermabrasion is a safe and non-invasive treatment with minimal risks. It is not recommended for some people with sensitive skin or serious conditions such as deep acne, active rosacea, eczema or dermatitis. It may require multiple treatments to achieve desired effectiveness. Skin may experience some irritation or redness and sunscreen should be worn for days after each treatment.
