5 Tips to Keep Skin Soft through Every Season

There’s no denying that winter is tough on skin. But we’ve pulled together 5 tips to keep your skin soft despite the snow in the winter, the humidity in the summer, and the in-between of spring and fall.

Skin tip #1: Change up your skincare regimen as the seasons change. Your skin will feel the effects of the weather change so adjusting your skincare routine helps remedy some of environmental damage your skin may endure.

Skin tip #2: Go pro at the beginning of each season. Whether you actually go to a professional or amp up your products, a deep rejuvenating facial at the start of every season is like hitting the refresh button for your skin.

Skin tip #3: Give your skin a chance to breath by removing all those dead skin cells at least once a week. Look for scrubs with microbeads that will gently remove flakes. MOISTURIZE AFTERWARDS!

Skin tip #4: HYDRATE! Drinking enough water each day will not only improve your skin, but other organ functions. It will help against chapped lips, dry skin and even oily skin.

Skin tip #5: Don’t be afraid of the professionals. Even just sitting down with a dermatologist for a quick consultation can help you better understand what your skin needs. Whether you have oily or combination skin, they’ll help you pick out the products that will help your skin the most.
